What is Can•Innovate?

Twice per year (October and February), CVC-OEI/@ONE coordinates free online conferences. Can•Innovate is our annual fall conference and serves as our system's premier professional development event in support of Canvas users. In 2018, more than 1,100 people attended Can•Innovate.

CVC-OEI/@ONE is coordinating a full-day program of online sessions spotlighting innovative and effective practices for supporting student success through the use of Canvas. There are two ways to attend: Online (from anywhere using one's own device) or On-Campus (in a group viewing room) -- that's where you come in!

What is a viewing room?

Volunteers from CCCs sign up to host a viewing room on campus. The basics needed to host a group viewing room include: a room on campus available from 9-5 (ideally) on Friday, October 25, 2019 that includes seating for your peers, a computer with Zoom installed on it that is connected to a projector, and speakers to project the sound out to the audience in the room. Once you've got your room reserved for the day, it's time to start spreading the word to your colleagues.
