  • Colonial Slavery by Matt Mooney, faculty at Santa Barbara College. An instructor-created brief video included at the start of a module to clarify a sticky concept.
  • Fire and Ice by Amber Greene, student at Santa Barbara Community College. A student-created video created to demonstrate mastery of a historical event.
  • The Truck Stop by Michelle Macfarlane, faculty at Sierra College. A great example that demonstrates how to implement story-telling into your course design to make a human connection.
  • Welcome to Soc 2 by Katie Conklin, faculty at West Hills College. A friendly welcome video from Katie to her incoming students.

Bio: Donna Caldwell is a Sr. Education Solutions Consultant with Adobe Systems. Donna has Adobe Instructor certifications in InDesign, Acrobat and FrameMaker, and has provided training and consulting to Fortune 500 and top university clients including Apple, Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, Stanford and UC Santa Cruz. While at Adobe, Donna has been a key architect for Adobe’s Digital Literacy Consulting Program, designed to assist educational institutions with incorporating digital media across curriculum. Donna’s extensive consulting experience across commercial, government and education verticals, including teaching at a Community College, prior to joining Adobe is critical in her problem-solving approach for her education customers’ challenges by integrating educational goals with employment needs and expectations.
