Link-Systems International, Inc.

Bio: Richard has been a core member of Link-Systems International’s executive team since joining LSI in May, 2005. In 2013, he was appointed to his current position and has held Director positions in customer satisfaction, marketing, and online tutoring previously. Since assuming his leadership role at NetTutor in 2013, he has been the driving force behind two important milestones in NetTutor’s 18-year history: (1) the HTML5 upgrade to the NetTutor user interface—WorldWideWhiteboard; and (2) the introduction of RTR ( Refer-Tutor-Report) as a major enhancement to NetTutor’s Rules of Engagement options. He earned a BA from the University of Connecticut School of Business and an MBA from Saint Leo University. He became interested in digital learning while serving as the vice-president of the University’s Information Management Association—a student-run organization that provides resources for students interested in information technology. Richard is also a decorated U.S. Army veteran. The honors and commendations he received during his six years of service in the mid-1990s include the NATO Medal for Operation Joint Endeavor in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Army Commendation Medal, and two Army Achievement Medals.
