We have a POCR Lead

Now that your college’s POCR Lead is identified, your college can begin getting ready to become a Local POCR Certified College.

Local POCR Certification allows your college’s POCR team to identify courses that should be Quality Review (QR) Badged in the CVC Exchange site. A course worthy of QR badging is a course that is aligned with all elements of the CVC Course Design Rubric

To become Local POCR Certified, the following elements must be completed. Please note that these elements may not occur sequentially: many of these occur simultaneously; however, the Capstone process will be the final element of this process.

Before you begin the process, contact CVC@ONE’s POCR Lead (support@cvc.edu) and schedule a meeting.

Step One: Buy In

Step Two: Forming your Review Team

Step Three: Training your Reviewers

Step Four: Establish your college's Course Review Process

Step Five: Prepare and Train Faculty

Step Six: Local POCR Certification Application

Final Step: Capstone Process

When you have successfully completed your capstone your college can celebrate your status as a POCR Certified Campus! To clarify, only the CVC can issue the Quality Reviewed badge through the CVC Exchange. This is why each college’s POCR Lead will continue to submit the information for each course.

We strongly encourage all colleges to engage with us in becoming designated Home and Teaching College in the Course Finder. (This will involve your IT folks.) Please contact support@cvc.edu to get started.
