Fabiola Torres Instructor of Ethnic Studies Glendale Community College

Bio: Fabiola Torres is an instructor and Dept. Chair of Ethnic Studies at Glendale Community College. Her newest professional adventure includes co-facilitating for @ONE Equity & Culturally Responsive Teaching & Learning and teaching a hybrid Urban Education course for incarcerated women.

Jessica Bush Student Arizona State University

 

Bio: Jessica is a wife and a mother of three daughters. She currently attends Arizona State University and is working towards her Master's Degree in Social Work. Prior to ASU, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Sonoma State University, and Associate Degrees in Social & Behavioral Sciences and Psychology from Santa Rosa Junior College. Her goal is to work as an educational counselor at Santa Rosa Junior College and also teach classes.

Henry Fan Student Foothill College

 

Bio: Henry's experiences growing up independently and working for several years overseas after high school led him to an important realization about the power of becoming an independent learner. He is inspired to help others achieve this potential, by becoming an educator. He is convinced that the crucial skill for any genuine learner is: the ability to foster passion while developing study skills.

Kelly Ann Gleason Student Cuesta College

 

Bio: Kelly Ann is a re-entry student pursuing her degree in accounting. She is also a retired preschool teacher and site director, the mother of a 20-year old college student, a wife, and has studied abroad. Kelly Ann sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2015 and relies on access to online courses to achieve her academic goals.

Bonnie Harper Student Barstow Community College

 

Bio: Bonnie is a mom, student and a Medical Assistant in Pain Management. She is pursuing her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree by taking my prerequisites at Barstow Community College with the goal of transferring to Azusa Pacific University.
