We have a POCR Lead, What's Next?
Now that your college’s POCR Lead is identified, your college can prepare to become a Local POCR Certified college.
Local POCR Certification allows your college’s POCR team to identify courses that should be Quality Review (QR) Badged in the CVC Exchange site, located at cvc.edu. A course is eligible for QR badging when it is aligned with all elements of the CVC Course Design Rubric
To become Local POCR Certified, the following elements must be completed. Please note that these elements may not always occur sequentially; many of these occur simultaneously. However, the Capstone process will be the final element of this process.
Before you begin the process, contact the CVC@ONE’s POCR team at support@cvc.edu and schedule a meeting.
When you have successfully completed your capstone, your college can celebrate your status as a POCR Certified Campus!
To clarify, only the CVC can issue the Quality Reviewed badge through our cvc.edu site and cross-enrollment system. This is why each college’s POCR Lead will continue to submit the information for each course through a form on your assigned Dashboard.
We strongly encourage all colleges to engage with us in becoming designated Home and Teaching Colleges on the CVC Exchange so that your college can take advantage of the QR badging once you are Local POCR Certified. Courses with QR badges will be shown earlier in search results, thus intentionally advantaging courses that are aligned with the CVC Course Design Rubric.
