Precious Panda Pointers

Participants will oooh and awe as many precious pointers will be demonstrated in a Canvas course. Discover tools and settings that have been in Canvas all along but perhaps you didn’t have the force to find them. These pointers will help you make your course more useable, accessible, agreeable, and adorable. This session is for all levels of Canvas users: from the Padawan Panda up to the Master Panda.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to improve the efficiency of how they use Canvas such as… 1. Use Canvas tools to check for Accessibility and valid links. 2. Restore items that were deleted or see old versions of a page or grades. 3. Access course and discussion settings. 4. Easily determine a student’s last date of activity

Sylvia Amito’elau Instructional Technology Designer
Bio: Sylvia Amito’elau is an instructional designer at Coastline College. She is a Canvas admin and trainer. Since 2002 she has been supporting faculty in the design, development, and delivery of online learning. She has been teaching CTE courses since 1996 in all modalities (f2f, hybrid, and online). She is a Peer Online Course Reviewer for the OEI. |
